Barack Obama's speech
President Barack Obama is one of the greatest speakers I have ever heard. When I heard his speech about race and becoming "A More Perfect Union", I knew that I was going to listen to a great speech. During his speech he does not just include himself and doing it on his own, he also includes us Americans. He repeats the word "we" many times, because he knows that he can't do it himself and he needs everyone to get involved in this issue. He started off the speech by giving a little history of when slavery started, then he smoothly went on including us Americans in the speech. He then talked about his background information about himself and his family, how they are all from different races, which makes him more knowledgeable about this situation. When Barack Obama is giving the speech, is talking to the audience in front of him and us Americans at the same time. What I mainly like about his speech is he is all about change. He takes it step by step to solve the problem and breaks it down to the audience for them to know how they can help. Obama makes his speech very clear and easy to understand for everyone to listen and see the importance. I always feel connected when listening or watching his speeches because his choice of words are brilliant and his delivery is very effective.
